Tex Avery's The Hick Chick:

The Hick Chick is a 1946 one-reel animated cartoon. It was produced in Technicolor and released to theatres on June 15, 1946 by Metro-Goldwyn Mayer. It was directed by Tex Avery and produced by Fred Quimby and music by Scott Bradley. Animation by Preston Blair, Ed Love, Ray Abrams and Walter Clinton. This was the first MGM cartoon that Fred Quimby was credited as producer. Red makes a small cameo appearance as nurse hen near the end of the cartoon.
